Traurige Neuigkeiten, also machen wir's kurz: Das kleine Vogelbaby ist heute früh dann doch gestorben. Nach dem Aufstehen haben wir die Mutter noch gesehen, aber irgendwie war das auch nicht mehr die Rettung. Wir haben's versucht, aber so ist das eben...
Unlustige Scherze meiner Mitmenschen enthalten die Worte "Vogelgrippe". Darauf gehe ich jetzt nicht weiter ein, sondern begeb' mich in mein Nachtlager ;-) Mehr Neuigkeiten gibt's momentan auch nicht, aber wie man hier so schön sagt gilt "No news is good news". Na denne: Gute Nacht!!!

Sad news, so we'll keep it brief: The little baby bird died earlier today. We saw its mother flying up to him this morning, but apparently she couldn't help much either. We tried our best, but such are life and nature.
I am starting to hear not-so-funny jokes around me containing the words "bird flu". I will just ignore that and go to bed for today ;-)
By the way: We just saw the preview for the movie "Beerfest". Patrick thought it was hilarious and is convinced we'll have to see it on opening day. Uuhh.....what's peoples' obsession with German accents in advertisements and movies lately? We're not SUCH a funny people. Oare aahr vee? :)
